99% of the leathers are made from livestock, (that is cattle, sheep, goats and pigs) and they are a by-product of the meat industry. Without exception, across the world farmers do not raise livestock for their hides and skins [1].
Human Psychology:
Human beings are using animals in various aspects for their entertainment. We are not only putting animals behind bars in the Zoo but also killing them for various purposes. The more we are using animals for our entertainment the more we are living humanity and most of our decisions are against humanity. We can see it as Climate Change is one aspect of which the whole world is facing currently.

Above are 2 world-wide areas where animals are being killed brutally. Leather materials are durable and strong which is the primary reason due to which we are using leather products. Day by day use of leather products is increasing.
How to avoid leather products:
We can avoid leather products only when we start loving the animals. Understanding animal’s physiology and their importance in our life is of significant importance. We have to adopt animals as an integral part of our life. This will not only provide life to animals but also a good companion to human beings.
Conclusion:
To live in a pure and beautiful environment we are required to reduce the gap between human beings and animals. There are various ways of doing so we can adopt stray animals, feed them on a regular basis and provide them shelter etc.
